Vertical Expressions In Dance uses a system that has been developed over 75 years ago. This system uses Personal Lessons, Group Lessons and Supervised Practice Nights. PERSONAL LESSONS: Personal Lessons are by appointment and are first come first served, however most of our students use a standing time each week. As qualified and certified teachers we all know that the average attention of an individual is only 40 minutes long. Because of that we offer 45 minute Personal Lessons. While some teachers choose 1 hour to teach private lessons it is clear that we are not wasting the students time and money.
GROUP CLASSES:Group classes are held at the same time and day each week and run 45 minutes long.
Beginner Classes are held Tuesday 7-7:45PM
Intermediate Classes are held Wednesday 7-7:45PM
Advanced Class held every Thursday at 7:15-8PM
SUPERVISED PRACTICE NIGHT:
Supervised Practice Night is every Tuesday and is a FREE night to all the students enrolled in personal lessons. Supervised Practice is where we play music and you the student practice what you have learned in your lessons. All teachers are available to help you with your steps. Supervised Practice Night is Tuesday from 7:45-8:30PM.
SUPERVISED DANCE PARTIES: Our Supervised Dance Parties are BYOB and held every Friday Night from 8PM-11PM. The Friday Night Dance is $10 per person and includes light refreshments. We use dance mixers and other social events all night long to help you feel comfortable. We encourage all new students to get there at 8PM so you can feel welcome by our students.
